A delightfully graphic large rug, decorated with Vallero Stars on the main ground, bordered by a row of stars worked in a slight variation. Woven of handspun yarn in natural white and gray, with red and black aniline-dyed handspun.

Condition is excellent with no restorations. Colors are original and full on both sides. Selvages and corner tassels are 100% original and intact. Less than 1% of all late classic Navajo serapes in either museum of private collections have survived in comparable condition.
