Apache Cradle with Doll #10175
1902
A Child's Apache Cradle made of wood, leather, beads and cotton. The cotton sun shade has a floral painted design across the front with a similar painted vine design along the beaded leather body. The top of the sunshade has a beaded cross. The doll wears a cotton gingham dress and a beaded necklace. The wood frame and back slats are hand carved. The Cradle is dated 1902 along the side.

A very rare pair (male and female) of Apache dolls. Very old and primitive. The female doll is wearing a pair of cactus kicker boots on old saddle leather. She has seven tin cones attached. The male doll is clothed in old cotton clothing with what appears to be a hide foundation for the body. His waist belt is of hide with brass trim. Boots are cactus kickers, from old saddle leather.
