Plains Dance Rattle (possibly Sioux) with ochred yellow intestine hoop. Tin cone and red feathers attached to rattle's head. Wood shaft covered with red painted cotton fabric and wrapped with sinew.

Cheyenne Knife Case and Knife
A very fine Cheyenne knife case beaded on one side with four Dragonflys. Seed beaded with medium blue cut beads on buckskin and sinew sewn. Tin cones and beaded leather drops further embellish the case. Back ochered in yellow pigment.
Knife with brass tacks on handle and pointed blade.
Length of knife case w/o drops 9", 18" overall w/o top strap.

A very early tomahawk, with blade marked "Parke". William Parke supplied axes and tomahawks to the Hudson’s Bay Trading Co. during the 1770s to 1790s. Such tomahawks bearing government marks were used to arm Indian allies of Great Britain before, during and after The American Revolution, and as treaty gifts. (Native American haft. Square period nails.)

Beaded Lakota Knife Case and Knife #9923
c. 1870
A Lakota Beaded knife case on hide in excellent condition. Seed beaded in red white hearts, yellow, light blue, dark blue and two shades of green, all sinew sewn. Decorated with diamond elements and three crosses. The trade knife with filed down blade and three square steel bolsters on the handle is original to the sheath.
